 Sadly, Lakeland is still looking for their first win of the season after six  matches. They fell  9-4 to the Old Forge Blue Devils on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lakeland of the  5-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2023.
 Lakeland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Tyler Uram, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 On Old Forge's side,  Joseph Granko and  Cam Krushnowski did most of the damage at the plate:  Granko  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-5, while  Krushnowski  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jake Iacavazzi, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Old Forge, the  victory was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-4.
 Lakeland will be playing at home against Western Wayne at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Western Wayne is coming into the  contest with three straight  losses on the road,  meaning Lakeland will have to defend against a  squad hungry for a  win. As for Old Forge, they will  challenge Riverside at 4:30  p.m.  on Saturday.
