Basketball Recap: Lake Comes Up Short

Lake was the 52-33 winner over Scott Central when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Lake Hornets received a blow on Friday as they fell 45-29 to the Scott Central Rebels. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Scott Central, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-12.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Lake will square off against Richton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Richton will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Lake surely won't give up without a fight. As for Scott Central, they will head out to square off against Heidelberg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heidelberg has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
