Volleyball Recap: Xavier Prep Takes a Loss

Xavier Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mighty Arabs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in March.

Xavier Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Coachella Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Xavier Prep is set to face off against their familiar foe Desert Mirage at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Coachella Valley will take on rival Desert Hot Springs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
