Hudson and Anthony Wayne squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Hudson had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 48-32 to the Anthony Wayne Generals. The Explorers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Anthony Wayne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Leah Pike, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 18 points and eight boards. Pike is on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last nine games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Bender, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Anthony Wayne, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 23-2.

As of now, neither Hudson nor Anthony Wayne have any future games scheduled.
