Volleyball Game Preview: Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle vs. American Heritage Patriots

The Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle will head out to challenge the American Heritage Patriots at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Juan Diego Catholic took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Judge Memorial Catholic.

The win didn't come easy: Judge Memorial Catholic scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-21, 27-25, 23-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, American Heritage was able to grind out a solid victory over Carbon on Monday, taking the game 3-1. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Dinos recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

American Heritage walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 26-24, 25-14.

Juan Diego Catholic's record now sits at 7-13. As for American Heritage, their record is now 13-10.

Everything went Juan Diego Catholic's way against American Heritage in their previous meeting back in March, as Juan Diego Catholic made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Soaring Eagle since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
