Baseball Recap: Brookville Comes Up Short

Brookville suffered their biggest loss since May 11, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the McLean County Cougars, falling 12-1.

Brookville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Waggoner, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Brookville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for McLean County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4.

Coming up, Brookville will host Spencer County at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Blue Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for McLean County, they will venture away from home to take on Male at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
