Baseball Recap: Northland Prep Academy Spartans vs. Glendale Prep Academy Griffins
Sadly, Northland Prep Academy is still looking for their first win of the season after four games. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 8-2 walloping at the hands of the Glendale Prep Academy Griffins on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Northland Prep Academy of the 8-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Northland Prep Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Donahue, who went 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, a triple, and a run. Donahue has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances.
On Glendale Prep Academy's side, Logan Middendorf spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 16 Ks.
