Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Minto). They took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 62-10 win over the Cook Inlet Academy Eagles. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-4.

Minto found their leader in sophomore Tayla Baker, who posted 26 points. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for Baker. Naomi Fox was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Minto is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for Cook Inlet Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Minto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cook Inlet Academy, they will head out to take on Non Varsity Opponent on February 14th.
