Middletown suffers fifth straight loss at home

The Middletown Islanders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 12th straight loss. The match between Middletown and Narragansett wasn't particularly close, with Middletown falling 39-24. While losing is never fun, Middletown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Rhode Island basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Narragansett is ranked first).
