The Coquille Red Devils will take on the Sutherlin Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Sutherlin is facing Coquille at the wrong time: Coquille suffered their first home loss of the season on Friday and they're likely out for redemption. They had to suffer through a 35-8 loss at the hands of the Trojans. The Red Devils were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Meanwhile, Sutherlin entered their game against Siuslaw on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs took a blow against the Vikings, falling 45-8. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Eden Cardoza and Will Johnson. Johnson had a great game and rushed for 123 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries. Meanwhile, Cardoza was balling out in the loss, rushing for 115 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, while also picking up 44 receiving yards.

Coquille's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. As for Sutherlin, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-3.
