Volleyball Recap: Ava Erlien and Avery Harms Secure Win for Kohler

Kohler won the last time they faced Hilbert and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Blue Bombers came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Bombers.

Kohler had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-12, 25-13, 27-25.

Kohler was led to victory by Avery Harms and Ava Erlien. Harms had 24 digs and three aces, while Erlien had 28 assists. Those 24 digs gave Harms a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Hilbert still got an impressive performance from Liz Schneider, who had eight digs and three aces.

Kohler's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Hilbert, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season.

Kohler didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against St. Mary Catholic on the 2nd.
