Softball Game Preview: King's Christian Knights vs. Calvary Academy Warrior

King's Christian is 2-8 against Calvary Academy since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Knights will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Warrior at 4:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for King's Christian after they put the first run on the board last Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Calvary Academy by a score of 9-8. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by just one run.

For Calvary Academy's part, Tori DiChiara was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

The victory keeps Calvary Academy at an undefeated 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 13.0 runs this season. As for King's Christian, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
