Baseball Recap: Frederick Gunn Takes a Loss

The Frederick Gunn Highlanders came up short against the Taft School Big Red on Friday, falling 18-2. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Frederick Gunn saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Willis, who went 2-for-3 with one run. Talen McBride also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Frederick Gunn's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Taft School, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Frederick Gunn has already played their next game, a 10-5 loss against Suffield Academy on the 19th. As for Taft School, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 win against Hotchkiss School on the 21st.
