Baseball Recap: Ronan Comes Up Short

Ronan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 18-2 to the Florence-Carlton Falcons.

Ronan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zander Bennett, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That hit was Bennett's first of the season.

Ronan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Florence-Carlton, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Falcons beat Ronan by a score of 15-0 later that day.
