Basketball Recap: Ashley Ridge Extends Winning Streak to 16

Ashley Ridge had already won 15 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.7 points) and they went ahead and made it 16 on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 57-6 win over the Stall Warriors. The Swamp Foxes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 26 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ashley Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Skyla Tuthill, who posted 19 points. The match was Tuthill's 17th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Briana Davidson, who earned seven points and five steals.

Ashley Ridge's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1. As for Stall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ashley Ridge will venture away from home to square off against Summerville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ashley Ridge's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Stall, they will head out to challenge West Ashley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
