Basketball Recap: Lamar Takes a Loss

Lamar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 61-42 bruising from the El Dorado Springs Bulldogs. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 71-61 to them when the teams met back in February of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for El Dorado Springs, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Lamar will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cassville at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. El Dorado Springs also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
