Baseball Recap: Bartlett Comes Up Short

Bartlett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-1 to the Christian Brothers Purple Wave, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Purple Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 on April 4th.

Bartlett now has a losing record of 12-13-1. As for Christian Brothers, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bartlett will welcome Evangelical Christian at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Christian Brothers, they will face off against Lausanne Collegiate at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
