A Season-Best  Performance from  Devante Palacio Leads Chester over Carlyle
 Chester was led to victory by  Devante Palacio, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Palacio picked up  a  sack and made 12 total tackles (4.0 for loss). He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 66 yards.
 The  win for Chester keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Palacio will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant  performance when he faces off against Dupo on Friday.

 Wesclin was led to victory by  William Waggoner, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Waggoner rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns.
 Wesclin's victory  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 1-5. Waggoner and Wesclin will be playing in front of their home fans against Red Bud  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Chester Gets a Boost from Al-Jassim in  41-0  Victory
  Zain Al-Jassim was instrumental in extending Chester's winning streak to six on Friday. Al-Jassim did his part (and then some), throwing for 265 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.9% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground for the 'W'. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards.
 If history really does repeat itself,  Al-Jassim might just drop another big game when he faces off against Dupo on Friday. When  Al-Jassim last faced the Tigers  back in October of 2023, he threw for 294 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes, and also punched in a rushing score.

Littlepage Came Up Big in Sparta/Steeleville's  34-6  Defeat
 Sparta/Steeleville had to settle for second  on Friday, but  Quintin Littlepage sure wasn't going down easily. Littlepage was unstoppable, picking up 80 receiving yards, while also rushing for 75 yards. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 63 yards.
 Sparta/Steeleville is  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-6. Littlepage and Sparta/Steeleville will take on Carlyle at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
