Basketball Recap: Columbus International Takes a Loss

Columbus International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Linden-McKinley Panthers and fell 62-23. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-22 back in December of 2024.

Columbus International's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Linden-McKinley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-11 record this season.

Columbus International won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mifflin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbus International is facing Mifflin at the right time seeing as Mifflin is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Linden-McKinley, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Whetstone at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Linden-McKinley will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Whetstone will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's game.
