Baseball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

Antioch came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Northgate Broncos, falling 9-1.

Antioch saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Sanchez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Antioch now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Northgate, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0.

Antioch has already played their next game, a 9-0 win against Rio Vista on the 6th. As for Northgate, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Dougherty Valley on the 6th.
