Basketball Recap: Chariho Takes a Loss

Chariho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 63-37 to the Coventry Oakers. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Oakers from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Chariho's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Coventry, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chariho won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Middletown at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coventry, they are taking a road trip to take on Woonsocket at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
