It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Comanche ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Millsap Bulldogs 52-49. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last seven times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Despite the defeat, Millsap saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Gabe Jones went 6-for-14 on his way to 22 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals.

Comanche is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-26 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points over those games. As for Millsap, their loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-22.

Looking ahead, Comanche will square off against Peaster at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Greyhounds have now posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups. As for Millsap, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Breckenridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
