It's playoff time, and Heritage had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Loudoun Valley Vikings on Monday. The win was nothing new for the Pride as they're now sitting on five straight.

Not much got past Mark Van Tuyle, who gave up just four hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Loudoun Valley off the board.

On the hitting side, Heritage's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Van Tuyle, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave Van Tuyle a new career-high.

The win got Heritage back to even at 11-11. As for Loudoun Valley, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 12-8 record.

Heritage does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Loudoun Valley has already played their next matchup (against Rock Ridge), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
