Basketball Game Preview: Clarkrange Buffaloes vs. Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs

The Clarkrange Buffaloes will challenge the Red Boiling Springs Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarkrange is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.2 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Clarkrange came up short against Gordonsville and fell 61-48. The Buffaloes have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Bryton Swallows, who went 7 of 13 en route to 17 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Taylor, who made all 5 shots he took to post 12 points.

Meanwhile, Red Boiling Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Westmoreland and fell 57-30.

Clarkrange's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Red Boiling Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Clarkrange didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Red Boiling Springs in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 68-64 victory.
