Luke Lagao and Isaiah Hill secure win for Vistamar

Recap: Vistamar Vikings vs. New Roads Jaguars
The Vistamar Vikings won the last time they faced the New Roads Jaguars, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Vistamar came out on top against New Roads by a score of 50-37.
Leading Vistamar to victory were Luke Lagao and Isaiah Hill. Lagao scored 14 points, while Hill scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. Hill is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caiden Chen, who scored six points.
Vistamar's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for New Roads, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Vistamar will be playing at home against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hawthorne Math & Science Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. New Roads' road trip will continue as they head out to face Geffen Academy at 3:00 p.m. on January 25th. Geffen Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
