Baseball Recap: Hondo Comes Up Short at Home Against Bracken Christian

Hondo unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Bracken Christian Warriors by a score of 9-7 on Monday.

Hondo saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kolten Alvarez, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Another was Anthony Garza, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The win got Bracken Christian back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Hondo will be playing at home against Bandera at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bracken Christian, they will square off against Marble Falls at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
