Soccer Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence lost against Columbus International back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The 76ers came up short against the Lions, falling 7-1. Independence have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Independence's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Columbus International, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Independence will challenge Briggs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus International, they will host Ponitz Career Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
