Basketball Recap: California Crosspoint Comes Up Short

California Crosspoint was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 52-41 to the Valley Christian Vikings. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 58-51.

California Crosspoint's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Valley Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. California Crosspoint won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Fremont Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. California Crosspoint is facing Fremont Christian at the right time seeing as Fremont Christian is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Valley Christian, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Contra Costa Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
