Softball Recap: Patterson Takes a Loss

Patterson lost against Oakdale back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-2. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Patterson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mariah Martinez, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Olivia Dallimore also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Patterson's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Oakdale, their record now sits at 9-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patterson will host Manteca at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Buffaloes have averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Oakdale, they will be playing at home against Sierra at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Mustangs are facing the Timberwolves at the right time seeing as the Timberwolves are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
