Soccer Recap: Winfield Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Winfield was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Hurricane Redskins. Winfield have struggled against Hurricane recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Winfield's goal came courtesy of Shae Knolles, who's now up to three this season.

Winfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Hurricane, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-3.

Coming up, Winfield will face off against Shady Spring at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hurricane, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cabell Midland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
