Football Game Preview: New Haven Rockets vs. Clawson Trojans + How To Watch

New Haven hasn't had much luck against Clawson recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rockets will head out to challenge the Trojans at 7:00 p.m.

New Haven is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They fell 24-19 to Lincoln on Friday.

Despite the defeat, New Haven got top-tier performance from Darrien Wilmer, who rushed for 109 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries. The Rockets also got a significant boost from Steven Marks, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 88 yards.

Even if they lost, New Haven's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Chance Holoway was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Meanwhile, Clawson got the win against Clintondale on Friday by a conclusive 30-6. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

New Haven's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Clawson, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

New Haven was dealt a bruising 46-8 defeat at the hands of Clawson in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Rockets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
