Baseball Recap: Island Coast Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Island Coast couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 10-0 to the Barron Collier Cougars on Tuesday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Gators, who until this match were averaging 2.97 runs allowed.

This is the second loss in a row for Island Coast and nudges their season record down to 23-8. As for Barron Collier, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Island Coast nor Barron Collier have any future games scheduled.
