It was fun while it lasted, but Walnut's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Saturday. Neither they nor the Villa Park Spartans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked the Mustangs' first draw of the season.

Oscar Feria and Isaiah Castenada scored both of Walnut's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

With that draw, Walnut's record moves to 3-0-1. Meanwhile, Villa Park's record is now 3-0-1.

Walnut didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against King on the 7th. Villa Park has also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Esperanza on the 7th.
