Volleyball Recap: Carver Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Carver came into Thursday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Hapeville Charter Hornets by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Panthers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Hornets, so the Panthers were just returning the favor.

While Carver won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-11.

Carver picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 4-7. As for Hapeville Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Carver will head out to square off against South Atlanta at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hapeville Charter, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lovett on the 25th.
