Basketball Game Preview: Como-Pickton Eagles vs. Ector Eagles

Having just played yesterday, Como-Pickton will jump right back in to play Ector at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Como-Pickton and three for Ector.

Como-Pickton's tournament run continued when they took on Clarksville on Friday. The Eagles took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Ector suffered their closest loss since December 8, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Celeste by a score of 52-50.

Ector's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Como-Pickton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Como-Pickton couldn't quite finish off Ector when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 57-54. Can Como-Pickton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
