Volleyball Recap: Harvest-Westminster Takes a Loss

Harvest-Westminster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sycamore Spartans.

Karis Meeker paced Harvest-Westminster's offense, picking up five kills. Meeker got some help from Alexis Brokke and her seven assists. Finally, Hannah Steffen kept Harvest-Westminster's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Harvest-Westminster's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Sycamore, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Harvest-Westminster wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Woodstock North on the 11th. As for Sycamore, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against McHenry on the 11th.
