Baseball Game Preview: Snohomish Panthers vs. Monroe Bearcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Snohomish Panthers face off against Monroe Bearcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Snohomish will be strutting in after a victory while Monroe will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, everything went Snohomish's way against Ferndale as Snohomish made off with a 9-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

The team relied heavily on Reve LeRoux, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Landon Klein was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.

Snohomish was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Monroe was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They came up short against Woodinville, falling 10-2.

Monroe now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Snohomish, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Snohomish couldn't quite get it done against Monroe when the teams last played back in March of 2024 as they fell 5-0. Can Snohomish avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
