Romeo waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Traverse City Central Trojans. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Romeo's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while Traverse City Central are ranked 197th).

Romeo pushed their record up to 6-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Traverse City Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Romeo will venture away from home to square off against Anchor Bay at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Traverse City Central, they will welcome Alpena at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Traverse City Central will be up against Alpena's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.2 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
