Volleyball Game Preview: Rincon/University Rangers vs. Marana Tigers + How To Watch

Rincon/University hasn't had much luck against Marana recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Rangers will venture away from home to square off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Rincon/University barely beat Sunnyside the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rangers blew past the Blue Devils 3-0 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Marana got the win against Tucson High Magnet School on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Marana never let Tucson High Magnet School on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 26-24.

Marana's win bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Rincon/University, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-15.

Rincon/University couldn't quite get it done against Marana when the teams last played two weeks ago as they fell 3-1. Can the Rangers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
