Volleyball Recap: West Laurens Comes Up Short

West Laurens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Vincent's Saints. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Saints from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-2, 25-8.

West Laurens' loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for St. Vincent's, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, West Laurens and St. Vincent's will both be playing St. Andrew's the next time they take the court. The Raiders will head out to face the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Saints will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
