Softball Recap: Woodford County Yellowjackets vs. Anderson County Bearcats        
        
		
            
 Woodford County was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They lost  14-4 to the Anderson County Bearcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Woodford County of the  6-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April.
  Addie Bryant was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 3-for-3.  Lily Slayton was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 On Anderson County's side,  Faith McGregor was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-1. McGregor is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last six games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Paige Garland, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-3.
 Woodford County's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Anderson County, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 16 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record  this season.
 As of now, neither Woodford County nor Anderson County have any future games scheduled.
