Softball Recap: Rio Americano Takes a Loss

Rio Americano was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-2 to the Roseville Tigers.

Rio Americano saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Sanchez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Rio Americano's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Roseville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7-2 record this season.

Rio Americano wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-6 defeat against Antelope on the 28th. As for Roseville, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-3 loss against Las Plumas on the 28th.
