Soccer Recap: Crestwood Comes Up Short

Crestwood lost against Rootstown back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Devils came up short against the Rovers, falling 8-1. Crestwood were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Their goal came courtesy of Kyle Shelhamer, who's now up to seven this season.

Crestwood now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Rootstown, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Crestwood has already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Holy Name on the 4th. As for Rootstown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Canton Central Catholic on the 4th.
