Football Recap: Smiths Station Skates Past Park Crossing with Ease

Smiths Station got themselves on the board against Park Crossing on Thursday, but Park Crossing never followed suit. They blew past the Thunderbirds 39-0. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their 12-point performance the game before.

Brooke Norred threw for 184 yards and four TDs while completing 86.7% of her passes. Sydney Morris was her top target, picking up 49 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Smiths Station now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Smiths Station will venture away from home to take on Russell County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Park Crossing, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central at 6:00 p.m. on October 1.
