Volleyball Recap: Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy Comes Up Short

Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy kicked off their season on the road on Sunday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Georgia-Cumberland Academy Jaguars.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy can attribute much of their success to Milly Crecelius, who had seven aces and four assists. Those seven aces gave Crecelius a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Bela Barbosa, who had five aces and one assist.

The win made it two in a row for Georgia-Cumberland Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-5.

Georgia-Cumberland Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Collegedale Academy on the 7th. Hopefully Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy paid attention to Georgia-Cumberland Academy's match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Georgia-Cumberland Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th.
