Volleyball Recap: Agawam Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Agawam lost against Longmeadow back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Brownies came up short against the Lancers, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-10, 25-8.

Agawam's offense was headlined by Hannah Jock and Lailah Thee, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Sophia Laprise and her seven assists.

Longmeadow's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caroline Croteau, who had four digs and two aces. What's more, Croteau racked up eight assists, the most she's had since back in September of 2024.

Agawam's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Longmeadow, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Agawam is set to square off against their familiar foe Baystate Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Longmeadow will take on rival Frontier Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
