Soccer Game Preview: Chapin vs. Lufkin

The Chapin Huskies will challenge the Lufkin Panthers at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Chapin is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Montgomery on Friday. Neither Chapin nor Montgomery could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

Mateo Lopez and Samuel Dos Santos scored all three of Chapin's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lufkin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let Benjamin Davis onto the board and left with a 1-0 win on Friday.

With that draw, Chapin's record moves to 1-0-1. As for Lufkin, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
