Baseball Recap: Enterprise Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

Enterprise entered their tilt with Mosley on Saturday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Dolphins a 4-0 shutout. Give the Wildcats' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Not much got past Brady Richardson, who gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks to keep Mosley off the board. Richardson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Enterprise's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mikey Vanderheyden, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Enterprise's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Mosley, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-9.

Coming up, Enterprise will venture away from home to challenge Carver Montgomery at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Wolverines at the right time seeing as the Wolverines are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Mosley, they will be playing at home against Bozeman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
