Volleyball Recap: Hustisford Turns Things Around After Road Loss + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Hustisford, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Madison Country Day on Thursday. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 16-25, 26-24, 25-20.

Layla Thimm was her usual excellent self, getting 20 digs, five kills, three blocks, and three aces. Those five kills gave her a new career-high. Kaydence Muche was another key player, getting 16 digs and two aces.

Hustisford's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Madison Country Day, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hustisford will venture away from home to face off against Valley Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison Country Day, they will square off against Abundant Life at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Challengers will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Madison Country Day surely won't give up without a fight.
