Grove City Christian picks up sixth straight win at home

The Grove City Christian Eagles stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 69-43 margin over Columbus International. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Grove City Christian had established a 20 point advantage.

Seth Vaughn continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 27 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Grove City Christian's points. Caleb Ransom was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Grove City Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points per game. As for Columbus International, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Grove City Christian will face off against Fisher Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Columbus International, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mifflin at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th.
